A friend once mentioned that during her pregnancy, her vision didn’t feel quite the same. She noticed slight blurriness, occasional dryness, and more sensitivity to light. At first, she thought it was just fatigue—but it turned out to be something many expectant mothers experience.
During pregnancy, hormonal changes can affect the eyes in subtle ways. Fluid retention may slightly alter the shape of the cornea, leading to temporary changes in vision. Tear production can also decrease, causing dryness and discomfort. For some, existing conditions like dry eye or refractive errors may feel more noticeable.
The reassuring part? Most of these changes are temporary and often resolve after delivery.
However, sudden or severe vision changes should never be ignored, as they may be linked to conditions like high blood pressure or gestational complications.
Sometimes your eyes change not because something is wrong—but because your body is adapting.
Clear vision is not just about seeing better—it’s about living better.
At Enny Eye Care, we are committed to helping you protect, preserve, and prioritize your sight every day.

I remember one evening drive when the road felt different. Headlights seemed brighter than usual, street signs looked slightly blurred, and I found myself squinting more than I should. At first, I blamed fatigue. But as it kept happening, I realized night driving demands more from our eyes than we often admit.
In low light, our pupils dilate, making it harder to focus clearly—especially if there’s an uncorrected prescription, dry eyes, or early lens changes. Glare from oncoming vehicles can also reduce contrast and slow visual response.
Before heading out, a few simple steps can make a difference: ensure your glasses are clean and up to date, avoid driving if your eyes feel strained, use anti-reflective lenses if needed, and keep your windshield clear. Regular eye exams are essential for identifying issues early.
Night driving doesn’t have to feel stressful.
The road ahead is clearer when your vision is prepared for it.
Clear vision is not just about seeing better—it’s about living better.

I used to think eye problems came with only one option—just manage it and move on. If my eyes felt uncomfortable, I reached for eye drops. If my vision blurred, I assumed glasses were the only answer. It felt fixed, like there was no real choice.
But during a visit to the clinic, I learned something different. Eye care isn’t one-size-fits-all. There are often multiple ways to manage the same issue—lifestyle adjustments, different types of lenses, treatment plans, or even preventive strategies I hadn’t considered.
That realization shifted everything. Instead of reacting to symptoms, I began asking questions. What are my options? What works best for my lifestyle? What protects my vision long-term?
Eye health is not about settling—it’s about understanding.
When you know you have choices, you become part of your care, not just a recipient of it.
Sometimes better vision begins with a better question: What are my options?
Clear vision is not just about seeing better—it’s about living better.
